San José High offers a variety of sports for all students. Every player deserves to be coached and at San Jose High we take this philosophy very seriously. Not only do we try to have every player reach their potential, we also strive to make playing sports at San Jose High an enjoyable experience.
At San José High, we stress inclusive participation rather than exclusive competition. A 2.0 grade-point average is required for a student to participate in a sport or activity. We expect our student athletes to succeed in the classroom as well as on the athletic field. Our athletes are motivated to push themselves in their studies and provide an example for our student body of effective time management, sportsmanship, and school spirit. Our skilled coaching staff are expected to provide our student athletes with the training, tools, and skills they need to succeed on and off the field.
We believe that athletics and strong academics go hand-in-hand. So come out, join a team and represent our BULLDOGS!
