Academic Support
Common Learning Centers
All students have at least one Learning Center period built into their course schedule. The purpose of Learning Center classes is to provide students with opportunities to complete coursework, make up missed work, retake assessments, receive individual instruction and support, and academic enrichment. Students are assigned Common Learning Centers during 4th period based on grade level. Students that are participating in credit recovery through the Edgenuity program also receive support from a designated instructor supporting their individual progression in their course(s).
Math Support
San José High Mathematics Department offers afterschool tutoring and support to any interested students. For more information please contact counselors or your math teacher.
Credit Recovery
Credit recovery is offered at San José High through Edgenuity Online and SJUSD Extended School Year (ESY) Programs.
