School & Parent Involvement

San José High is committed to ensuring that families of our students are provided with the information they need to make well-informed choices for their students including more effectively sharing responsibility for their child’s success, and helping our school develop effective and successful programs. 

As a component of the school-level parent and family engagement policy, SJH has jointly developed with parents, families, staff, and students a school compact that outlines how families, the entire school staff, and students will share the responsibility for improved student academic achievement and the means by which the school and parents will build and develop a partnership to help our students achieve high standards.
