Work Permits
Work permits are available for students between the ages of 14 -18.
Work Permit Request Procedure:

GET HIRED: Students must first get hired by their new employer before completing the Work Permit Request Form and submit the completed from to the office for approval.
- GET THE FORM: Hard copies of the form are available in the Student Services & Attendance Office, or it can be downloaded from the link below.
- FILL OUT THE FORM: Students must fill out all the information on the form including: student, school, and employer’s information, as well as collect all required signatures (employer, parent/guardian, student).
- SUBMIT YOUR REQUEST: ALL Work Permit Request Forms are processed digitally. To submit a digital copy of the completed request form, scan your completed from and upload it to the link below.
- PROCESSING & APPROVAL: The work permit will be processed as it is received. This process may take up to three (3) business days. If a student meets the Work Permit Requirements below, the permit will be signed and approved by their class advisor and the student will receive an email to sign the work permit digitally.
Work Permit Requirements:
- Student is attending classes regularly and in good standing. Students who have chronic absences or truancy may not be eligible for a work permit until attendance has improved. Past disciplinary action may impact approval.
- Student has a minimum of 2.0 GPA. REQUIRED. Work permit requests will not be granted if student does not meet the minimum requirement. Most recent grades will be used for eligibility qualifications or a grade verification form will need to be submitted.
